I've always loved writing, but it is only within the past few years that I began to consider it a centerpiece of my career. My academic pursuits showed me that I find joy in researching topics, deftly synthesizing current events, and maximizing word efficiency. As such, I consider policy memos and papers to be both fun and engaging.

Policymakers have the potential to affect many lives, and thus their work must be held to a higher standard. I promise to explore all angles of an issue before I form my conclusions. If I am wrong, I will admit this and revise my work accordingly. It is always possible to encourage constructive learning while maintaining accountability, and I strive to foster this both in myself and others.
